The Ferrari 250 GTO symbolizes the Gran Turismo automobile of the 1950s and 1960s. Designed to drive at high speed over long distances, it was the perfect balance between racing car and road car. With its flagship design to match its unique performance, the 250 GT has been named the greatest Ferrari of all time. Today it is reputed to be the most expensive car in the world, the price of the 36 examples built oscillating between 50 and 80 million dollars. The 1:18 scale model is based on a detailed scan of Mr. Ralph Lauren’s personal GTO.
