Book Golf: Impossible collection by Assouline
Description
“The design of the book itself as an art object is as stunning as the images and information captured on its pages” – 19thHoleMag.com
In this newest addition to Assouline’s coveted and lauded Ultimate collection, George Peper, former Golf Magazine editor and 2016 PGA Lifetime Achievement Award winner for journalism, takes readers on a golf journey incomparable as he travels the world detailing the 100 most important, historically notable and architecturally significant courses. Describing the intricate holes that confounded the game’s best, revisiting the tournaments that made and broke champions, and elucidating the unique and truly special features of each course makes George Peper the ideal golf partner as he guides readers through through clubs, fairways and bunkers. From greens as ancient and hallowed as St Andrews to courses celebrating their first anniversary such as Cabot Cliffs in Nova Scotia, from the island course of Shanqin Bay in China to the Hamptons’ Maidstone Club, Golf: The Impossible Collection is an unmistakable sensory treat for the golf fanatic, or the perfect treat to feed the wanderlust that simmers in all of us.
Exclusive white gloves and canvas tote bag are included with every purchase of an Ultimate Collection book.
